In order to support Pennylane’s strong growth in Europe over the coming months, we are looking for a People Ops Specialist.

You will join the People Ops team, which is made up of the Head of People Operations (to whom you will report), four other People Ops Specialists, and our Workplace Experience Team.

As a member of our team, you will be the main point of contact for employees within your assigned departments, supporting them throughout their journey at Pennylane. Your expertise in HR operations, as well as your skills in reporting and automating administrative processes, will help drive the company’s scale-up.

**Your responsibilities**

**1. Employee lifecycle management (for a workforce of up to 200 employees)**
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain and update employee administrative records
- Oversee employment contracts, amendments, certificates, etc.
- Manage absences (leave, sickness, etc.)

**2. Payroll & Benefits**
- Prepare and transmit payroll variables to the payroll provider
- Monitor employee benefits (health insurance, pension, meal vouchers, etc.)

**3. People Experience & Culture**
- Ensure an optimal employee experience: act as the main point of contact for Pennylaners, providing essential information throughout their journey at the company
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the employee experience
- Be a key point of contact for employees regarding daily HR matters

**4. Cross-functional HR projects**
- Support the digitalization of HR tools and the optimization of processes
- Take part in HR projects (diversity & inclusion, EVP, QWL, etc.)
- Prepare and monitor HR reporting (dashboards, social indicators)

**5. Compliance & Monitoring**
- Ensure regulatory HR monitoring
- Ensure compliance with legal and social obligations
- Maintain documentation and operational support: keep essential operational documentation up to date, including the onboarding booklet, Notion information pages, and other charters and guides

**Who we’re looking for**
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role in a fast-growing start-up
- Autonomous and efficiently manage multiple priorities in a constantly evolving environment
- In-depth knowledge of HRIS systems, particularly Lucca, and HR tracking/automation tools
- Fluent in French and English

**Recruitment Process**
- Screening call with TA -(30min, in visio)
- An interview with Mathilde - Head of People Ops (1h, in visio)
- A Business Case to prepare and present (1h, in visio)
- A final interview for Culture/Team Fit (30min)

We'll also encourage you to meet with your future team, during a 30min meeting (at the office or visio according to your preference)
