**The Department / Team**
The Software Engineer will be member of the Foundation Software Engineering team in our R&D centre based in Grenoble and dedicated to develop services supporting Moody's Solutions that are available worldwide.
The Software Engineer will work in cooperation with our architects, development engineers and quality engineers in a multicultural environment.

**The Role / Responsibilities**
In order to support our new generation products fitted for high performance and scalability, we are looking for a very specific role which is crossing several compentencies like devops and qa activity as well as software development but in very specific context.
You will integrate a highly technical software development team in charge of the development of our new risk management platform based on SaaS technologies.
In that context you will be in charged of the quality insurance of software developed by this team and will have to develop and maintain tools to ensure that deliveries are defect free. As the output of this team is very technicall components, we are specifically looking for a quality assurance that has previous development experience, in order to be able to understand the requirement as well as to be able to validate the implementation.
Your position will allow you to interact with architect, business analysts, project managers, developers, and quality assurance analysts of different geographic development sites.

**As Devops & QA & Software Engineer, you will**:

- Collaborate with Software developer and Product owner
- Provide feedback on requirements from and provide estimates for user stories and validation tasks.
- Collaborate with developer and product owner to define acceptance test.
- Collaborate with build and release engineers to prepare packages and solve environment issues.
- Maintain tools used for testing.
- Be in charge off making sure the CI and non regression tests are working properly. Work with more senior team members to continuously improve our engineering practices.

**Qualifications**
- Owner of a Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, with prior experience in software development,
- you already know at least python.
- You have the minimum viable skillset concerning SQL and DB concept.
- You already know at least docker, and have kubernetes experience.
- You have experience with CI tooling like jenkins, github actions or circle CI.
- You already have cloud experience, ideally with AWS (S3 / RDS/ EC2).
- Having UI development experience would be a plus.
- Having Java or go experience would be a plus.
- You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels.
- Being fluent in French is mandatory.
