**Position summary** This position has responsibility for all commercially relevant issues and account profitability associated with customer vehicle programs in RFQ phase, development and serial which are assigned to this individual by the SM. Is responsible for completing and submitting support documentation for packing, spot buys and prototype PO’s. Processes customer purchase order with the customer and internally. Does SAP entries and fostering. Supports Business Director/ Sales manager at internal planning and budgetting process (e.g. ISM, IHS-Volume reviews). The individual has the knowledge and experience to understand the customer’s expectations. Actively contributes in developping plans to meet internal and external expectations in programs which are assigned to this individual by the BD or SM. Supports the Program Manager in maintaining and improving the financial performance of assigned programs. Acts as the commercial interface between customer and Cooper Standard on low to medium working level. Supports the Business Director and/or Sales Manager and does the practical work during the RFQ/offering process. Essential responsibilities, duties and authority **Customer relationship** Understands and processes customer B2B platforms. Forwards and advices on tasks to other individuals and departments. Supports Business Director/ Sales manager at seeking for new relationships within the customer’s organization globally. Supports Business Director/ Sales manager at developping cross-functional customer relationships with all disciplines. Supports other Cooper functional areas in building and fostering relationships with the customer. **Strategic business development** Supports Business Director/ Sales manager at identifying future business growth opportunities. Supports Business Director/ Sales manager at identifying market trends and competitor information. Supports Business Director/ Sales manager at identifying customer trends and expectations. **RFQ management** Supports the Business Director/ Sales manager at new business acquisition and account profitability. Support Sales managers with various responsibilities (e.g. tooling documentary, open issues resolution, cost breakdowns) Processes customer RFQs, prepares commercial offers for new business acquisition and contractual changes. Acts as Program Manager during the RFQ/offering process until Gate1 (business award) completion. Ensures that RFQs are quoted in due time. Coordinates estimating process with Product and Process Engineering, Cost Estimating, Purchasing, and Quality. Uses and maintains Cooper tools, procedures, and platforms throughout the RFQ/offering process. **Business planning** Supports finance in business gaps resolution vs plan. Fosters and maintains all relevant Cooper reporting tools and platforms. Supports finance and management in planning and reporting. **Account profitability** Is responsible for technical/commercial change management and supports Business Director/ Sales manager at AR/Overdue management tracking and resolution. Maintains cost history in cooperation with Engineering, Cost Estimating, Finance, Program Management. "Supports activities to maintaining and improving existing business profitability. Drives analyses for cost improvements. Encourages VA/VE activities." Supports the commercial resolution of financial relevant topics, such as delivery, quality, warranty, and inventory issues. Supports plants and parts transfers with the manufacturing locations. Supports Business Director/ Sales manager at identifying Performance Improvement (PIP) opportunities. Uses and maintains Cooper tools, procedures, and platforms. Has basic understanding of the customer trems&conditions and legal/contractual framework. "Monitors Accounts Receivables (AR) performance Leads AR overdue resolution activities, in cooperation with Accounting dept, Quality, Logistics, and Program Management" **Department organizational tasks** Supports the Business Director/ Sales manager at Account/Business Unit cost center planning. Internal order (BANF) generation. **Required knowledge/education, qualification/ability and/or experience** Successfully completed Bachelor or Master or Diploma Degree in engineering and/or business administration, or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience working with OEM customers. Fluent in English, French/Spanish Wide industry knowledge of customers, competitors, products and dynamics (advance expertise) Financial experience and knowledge. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Work experience in cross-functional environment (i.e. Quality, Engineering, Operations, Purchasing and/or Program Management).
