**Summary / Role Purpose**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**
- Specify and write test cases, creates, modify and update existing tests, write and maintain test scripts
- Create test plans, participate in defect management and testing metrics
- Work in a variety of computing environments: Windows, Linux, VM’s, Cloud.
- Performs bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
- Works under the general supervision of a Testing manager

**Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience**
- BS in Engineering(any field), Computer Science, or related field with 2 years of experience, or MS with no experience
- Working experience in general software testing, test automation & web UI testing required.
- Good understanding and previous experience in python programming & browser-based products.

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**
- Technical knowledge and experience with Python or any other programming language through previous work experience.
- Problem solving oriented.
- Ability to take initiative, behave with integrity and respond maturely to direction
- Ability to establish good working relationships with Development, Testing, software quality assurance and support staff.
- Experience in a large-scale commercial software testing and verification environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and to collaborate with others in a geographically distributed team
- Previous experience in testing automation of server/client-based products.
- Previous testing experience in Cloud environment and browser-based products.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to review and analyze requirements in order to produce test strategy and test cases.
