**Votre rôle et vos missions**:

- Supporting the entities in order to help them to grow, to develop their offer, their management and steering standards as well as their risk management.

The head office of AXA Group (GIE AXA), based in La Défense, gathers the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates the various entities according to the Group's strategy and is responsible for managing international projects. The headquarters is composed with over 850 employees and is distinguished by its strong international culture (45 nationalities).

**Department description**:
The PI2 teams operate with multiple suppliers (PBRC, RM, asset managers, rating agencies, Group IT, etc.) and multiple clients (Group and local, finance, investment, risk, compliance, etc.). The main challenges are:

- to manage the complexity of huge numbers of complex investments, with new type of investments coming frequently,
- to keep up to date with latest IT developments (cloud-based tools, AI, etc.)
- to manage the multiple stakeholders which interests may not be aligned,
- to have the solidity of a robust process under the scrutiny of various internal controls and the agility to adapt rapidly to market crisis or other circumstances.

**Detailed missions and responsibilities**:
The mission takes place within the AXA Group, specifically at AXA GIE, which serves as the headquarters of the group. You will be integrated into a data team known as PISQUARE. PISQUARE is also the big data platform (a Microsoft Azure database queryable from Databricks and connected to Tibco Spotfire and Power BI) that function as the central point for managing all investment data within the group. Our interactions extend to financial analysts to comprehend their requirements and collaboratively build data flows with them (Data Reception, Data Transformation, Data Visualization).

The intern's mission will be to swiftly take control of this platform, understanding its areas for improvement, intervening in data automation processes, transformation, and dashboard redesigns.

**Key missions**:
**1. Data Reception**

Data reception is part of data process that automatically retrieve client data. As this process today runs on our local infrastructure (Anaconda, R Studio), the mission will consist in:

- Moving this infrastructure to the cloud
- Implementing an automated data flow process using R and Python languages o Preparing the input data based on CSV/Excel data (Cleaning)***

**2. Data Transformation**

The data transformation involves using different data sources. To ensure we’re using the right data, your mission will consist in:

- Developing controls to ensure that incoming files are in the right format for integration into final tables (Right columns, column names, data type, separator ) on the cloud infrastructure
- Enrichment of pre-processed data through the setup of mappings via SQL

**3. Data Visualization**

The data visualization involves design and production of multiple reporting. You’ll be in charge of:

- Providing visually appealing and relevant dashboards using Spotfire and Power BI

**Votre profil**:
**Skills and experience**:
**Technical knowledge**:

- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Microsoft excel and R/Python Programing
- Knowledge of a Spotfire and Power BI
- Knowledge of Azure (Databricks, DevOps, Data Factory, Azure Storage Explorer) is a plus
- Knowledge of financial markets / financial instruments and valuation is a plus

**Various skills**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good level in English
