- As a future Private Equity - GP Stakes Investments Intern, you will report to the GP Stakes Investments Director and you will be part of AXA IM Prime Department.
- AXA IM Prime is the private assets and hedge funds solutions platform of AXA IM with €30bn AuM, offering investments opportunities across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt and liquid alternative strategies
- We offer diversified sources of private market returns through primaries, secondaries, co-investments, as well as NAV financing and GP minority stakes solutions. AXA IM Prime works with more than 100 third party private asset managers.
- You'll be part of an intrapreneurial project contributing to building a new private equity investment strategy within AXA IM Prime.

- The role-holder will support the GP Stake Investments team and contribute to building and executing the investment strategy to get exposure to minority stakes of GPs / Private Markets Asset Managers through various routes (direct investments in GPs' equity, GP minority stake fund commitments, co-Investments, strategic partnerships)
- As the GP stake team and the investment strategy are in the processs of being built, this internship is a great opportunity to join an intrapreneurial experience.
- Your role and responsibilities will include:

- Assist the investment team in various aspects of the investment process
- Perform market screening to support the creation of the deal flow
- Analysis and update of market valuations database based on listed comparables, market transactions and analysts notes
- Drafting of monthly newsletter related to GP Stake activity dedicated to AXA IM Prime
- Carry out financial and strategic analyses as well as financial modelling of potential investment opportunities
- Conduct research on key themes in line with our investment strategy
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects related to our activity

- Your qualifications and experience
- Undertaking a masters or advanced degree in Finance / Economics
- Previous experience in M&A Investment banking, Private Equity or Management Consulting is highly preferred

Your knowledges and skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage databases and reporting tools used to drive decision-making (knowhow of private markets to be seen as a positive elements)
- Aptitude to quickly get familiar and iterate on valuation models and research/company data
- Excellent writing skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and produce quality working with attention to detail within tight deadlines
- A hard-working, dynamic and proactive self-starter enjoying entrepreneurial environments that value initiative and autonomy
- True team player
- Fluent English speaker
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential), Powerpoint and Word
