Junior Project Manager

**OUTCOMES**

Responsible for supporting the management of a portfolio of capital maintenance and / or end of life projects across the Colt data centre estate.

**Knowledge**:

- Some experience of M&E infrastructure projects
- Some technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical services, controls (BMS) and security installations.
- A desire to develop an in-depth understanding of the technical, procedural, contractual and commercial aspects of project delivery.

**Skills**:

- Ability to manage scope, cost, programme, quality and risks to deliver business goals; a problem solver.
- Ability to formulate and implement a clear strategy for project delivery through all stages.
- Ability to provide high quality and accurate reports, programmes and cost forecasts.
- Project management and co-ordination skills to maximise available resources; add value; deliver to milestones; drive to closure and exceed customer expectations.

**Attitude**:

- Good communication and reporting to team members and stakeholders including design, operations, end-users, 3rd parties, contractors, suppliers etc.
- Excellent teamwork and coordination across multi-disciplinary teams
- Able to manage multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
- Willing to complete tasks against budgetary targets, within short time scales and to a high standard.

**THE TEAM**

Internally: part of the global lifecycle project team, day to day interactions with the local Ops team (running the infrastructure), finance, other internal departments depending on the projects to be covered

Externally : customers on site, suppliers

**THE SKILLS / EXPERTISE THEY BRING**
- Experience of successfully delivering data centre projects involving working in live environment (preferred)
- Fluent in English and French (essential)
- Good Microsoft Excel, Word and Project skills.
- Impressive communication skills are required (written and verbal).
- Methodical and highly organised.
- Sense of priorities
- Role based in Les Ulis (91), working remotely is allowed as agreed with line manager
