Task Order Project Manager – TekSynap Join to apply for the Task Order Project Manager role at TekSynap. We are seeking a Task Order Project Manager to join our Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Team. Responsibilities Serve as the Project Manager for large, complex task orders or multiple related task orders impacting the same system. Support the Program Manager in coordinating with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Task Order Managers, Government leadership, and customer agency representatives. Provide overall management of assigned task orders, ensuring that technical solutions, deliverables, and schedules are executed in accordance with contract requirements. Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes. Lead project planning, resource allocation, and execution, balancing cost, schedule, and performance objectives. Prepare and deliver regular project status reports, performance metrics, and recommendations to senior Government stakeholders. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, technical standards, and security policies. Guide and mentor project staff to maintain high performance and foster professional growth. Experience & Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of relevant project management experience in IT and/or consulting fields. Minimum five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibility in public and/or private sector environments. Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects in Government or enterprise environments. Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority. Education Bachelor’s Degree in a related field – four (4) additional years of directly related experience may be substituted for a degree. Security Clearance Secret – IT‑II (Tier 3) Non‑Critical Sensitive Clearance with a favorable NACLC. Work Environment and Physical Demands Location: Remote – must attend periodic in‑person meetings in Washington, DC metropolitan area. Type of environment: Remote. Noise level: Medium. Work schedule: Day shift Monday – Friday, with potential evenings and weekends. Travel: Less than 10%.
