Regional Construction Quality

**Location: France (Paris, Montpellier or Reims)** **Manufacturing and Global Procurement < COO MED < Regional Sales Quality MED** Regional Construction Quality will be an integral part of the Regional Quality, COO and Construction Leadership team and will bring sustainable Change in the business. Shall combine technical knowledge with people, process, and organizational skills to deliver Quality and continuous business improvements. Will be reporting to the Regional Quality Head MED and functionally to Regional Construction Head and Global Construction Quality in a matrix organization **Responsibilities** Regional Construction Quality in conjunction with Regional Quality Team and Regional Construction Team, will direct, define and implement strategic quality initiatives to the region. - Will advise Business Leaders on their organization Quality metrics through trailing and directing indicators, while providing solid recommendations for improvement on those metrics. Specifically, will ensure that the quality goals and targets of construction projects are achieved. - Will ensure the quality management of construction projects are compliant with legal requirement and Vestas management system requirements and follow up and if necessary develop PQP & PQCP. - Will ensure the root cause investigation and improvement and closure of prioritized NCRs and systematic issues. Will guide the continuous improvements and reduce CoPQ - Will increase the customers' experience of construction quality and be relevant point of contact for quality related questions and quality value proposition. - Will continuously train the use of quality tools and form the general attitudes towards quality awareness and performance in construction. - Will guide sharing of best practice through knowledge transfer across the value chain and countries of the business unit and will share the knowledge and lessons learnt with the Global function. Safety - Direct the expectation and culture of zero workplace injuries through supporting behavior-based safety, prompt root cause investigation, and management system compliance Quality Among others: - Agree targets with regional construction team on quality commitment (e.g. quality walks) - Participate in the regional construction management team, facilitate that regional organization is compliant with the global quality management system requirements. - Promote the risk-based thinking in regional construction. Support regional construction on risk assessment and mitigation plans - Support and guide Quality implementation projects - Prepare Quality business plan with region specific business focus and define KPI's in agreement with construction. - Support regional construction to develop and optimize quality related procedures and instructions. E.g: Quality assurance plan in construction project. Check and ensure the availability and implementation of working instructions - Provide quality reporting regularly and monitor the performance - Identify the gaps and set up action plans in agreement with construction. Deploy the action plan and evaluate the effectiveness - Develop and conduct employee induction Quality training in the region for construction. Check and ensure the qualification of construction team and contractors. - Collaborate with regional construction to develop and conduct Quality training package for visitors - Conduct Quality awareness training for management & employees. Promote Quality awareness communications - Direct regional construction quality campaign. Direct regional Quality initiatives and incentives to develop "Customer First" Culture - Audit project as-built documentation. Participate in the handover process and ensure the project to be handed over to service properly. - Check and ensure the traceability information is registered in the system - Define the local requirements of quality records and check the compliance in agreement with Sales and Global function. - Support on the performance evaluation and improvement - Support on the contractor on-site audit. - Support to conduct FITI (First Installation Turbine Inspection) and check the compliance of specifications - Check and ensure the closure of punch list items. - Monitor the performance of NCR, CoPQ, Audit & assessments and collect data - Provide regular performance reporting with the support of Global QSE team - Review the performance and analyze data in order to identify gaps and improvement areas **Qualifications** - Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in Business or Engineering field - Solid technical background. Leadership and people management skills. Solid collaboration and communication skills; managerial courage - Fluent in English. Demonstrated Lean Skills. Lean / Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt desired) - practitioner - Driving license. Expect Travel: 70 %. - Budget and Finance acuity.
