La Preschool des Batignolles is a bilingual preschool located in the heart of the vibrant and family-friendly Batignolles neighborhood in Paris's 17th arrondissement.
Our school provides a nurturing, creative, and multilingual environment where young children thrive through play-based and child centred learning.
We pride ourselves on our small class sizes, collaborative teaching model, and our commitment to both French and international educational values. Our school combines aspects of the French curriculum and the British Curriculum (EYFS).

**Position Summary**
We are seeking a warm, dynamic, and enthusiastic **native level English speaking teacher** to join our **TPS/Petite Section class (ages 2-3)**. You will co-teach with a French speaking teacher in a bilingual classroom environment.
Each week alternates between full English immersion (led by you) and French immersion (led by your co-teacher), promoting language acquisition through a gentle and immersive approach.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead classroom activities in English during English immersion weeks
- Co-manage a bilingual classroom with the French teacher
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons focused on social, emotional, cognitive, and motor development
- Support and encourage early language development through play, songs, stories, and routine-based learning
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere
- Communicate regularly with parents about the children's progress and classroom life
- Participate in team meetings and school events
- **Native level English fluency is essential**:
- **Background in Early Childhood Education required** (BA in Early Childhood Education, PGCE, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework is **a plus but not essential**:
- Experience working with young children (ages 2-3)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-player attitude with a willingness to collaborate across cultures and languages
- Passionate about early childhood development and bilingual education
