Working as a core member of our Owner Engineering team in France, the Senior Subsea Engineer will work on pipeline and cable installation projects for our clients in the offshore renewable sectors. You will provide project management and quality control support.

**What you will be doing.**:

- Handle project management communication with client and reporting management of resources and deliverables.
- Assist the project team with technical document reviews for load-out, sea transportation and offshore installation activities.
- Ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with the agreed technical standards, current industry codes, contract requirements and with timely invoicing.
- Assist with the preparation of business development bids in conjunction with the Project Director.
- Collaborate with other disciplines and members of the ABL Group regarding operational and specialist matters.
- Propose and develop new business initiatives.

This position will be based in Paris (75011) and you must have the right to live and work in France. We do accommodate remote and hybrid working. Offshore attendance will be required on occasions.

**What we are looking for.**:
Ideally, you will have a proven background as a Subsea Engineer and worked on either oil & gas or renewables projects. Your responsibilities will include leading a project team as a project or package manager and acting as a technical lead in areas of expertise. More specifically, we are looking for the following:

- Hold an Engineering degree qualified in one of the following disciplines: Naval Architect, Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 6 years of experience.
- Experience at sea (offshore, quayside & on vessel) is mandatory.
- Have relevant engineering track record for offshore transportation and installation - including experience offshore during marine operations.
- Possess up to date knowledge of Loadout, Installation and Transportation methods, Codes of Practice, Rules and Guidelines. (DNVGL-ST-N001)
- Fluent in English and French.
