**EMEA Data Analyst Scientist for Row Crops (All Genders / D)**

We are creating the role of Data Analytics Scientist wihtin our Europe Middle-East and Africa Crop management team.

This position can be located anywhere in Europe where we have Row Crop manufacturing sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for Crop Management Team data management and data analytics activities within the EMEA region. The role accountabilities include managing team databases, developing data management systems, securing data quality and integrity, conducting data analysis and developing visualization tools.

You will also lead specific projects within the region and be responsible for driving project recommendations. Additionally, the selected individual will be part of a global data analytics network to support broad initiatives and drive alignment and consistency across regions. This position will be based on country home of person selected.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide data management technical expertise & support, as needed, in solving critical business issues.
- Responsible for consolidation, summarization and analysis of Crop management Team data to drive critical processes such as: Irrigation management, efficiency on site process, Culls rate target management, Yield forecasting and others.
- Consolidate, Monitor and Communicate to leadership statistical indicators to support data compliance and reliability; Support KPIs build up and follow up with action plans to team members.
- Work closely with other Data Management analyst like Production Rsearch/Quality and others, to align on data transfer
- Support Crop management team with Data visualization and data visualization tools
- Manage Crop management team databases. Develop data management systems to ensure proper data QC processes and data integrity. Provide guidelines for database audit process and compliance
- Actively participate on cross-regional teams and initiatives to leverage global data and knowledge, build consistent data processes and leverage global information
- Must be able to travel and support the needs in the EME region

**Your profile**:
BS/MS with 5+ years’ experience in Agronomy/Plant Sciences + strong data analytics aptitude or BS/MS in Statistical or mathematical modeling with 5+ year’ experience in Agricultural disciplines

Data management and analysis; data mining and visualization. Predictive analytics experience is a plus.

Hands-on experience in research environment, experimental design and execution of field trial

Knowledge of seed production or related crop production experience will be beneficial

Experience in working in a team-based environment

Excellent human relation skills, effective oral and written communication skills required. Capability to clearly present information and influence or persuade others (multilingual in local language/English)

The ability to communicate with different reporting levels in multi-national and cultural organization as an individual or a team.

Ability to work in a fast-paced global and multi-cultural seed company.

Decision making and problem-solving skills. Take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues.
