**About the team**:
The Finance and Strategy team's core mission is to help Deliveroo make more effective decisions. We aim to build long term company value, and we achieve this by setting company strategy, facilitating world-class execution, understanding and sharing the drivers of our business, delivering accurate financial results, all while managing risks and keeping an eye out for opportunities. Finally, it's critical that we continually foster and evolve a team culture to allow for each team member to thrive and grow.

**About the role**:
Deliveroo is looking for a dynamic and analytical mind to join the France Finance and Strategy team for a six-month internship in Financial Planning & Analysis starting November 2024. This internship opportunity is designed for students in the process of completing a Master or a Bachelor degree with a first experience in the financial sector.

**As a Finance & Strategy Intern** in our Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will:

- **Financial performance**:
Support the team in performing financial analysis to help drive business decisions, with a focus on the marketing spends:

- ** Help** tracking and analysing the financial performance against our reforecast and annual targets.
- **Cooperate** with the business teams on the monthly reforecast process to ensure exhaustivity and accuracy.
- **Participate** in ensuring the accuracy of the financial accounts.
- **Assist** in the preparation of analysis for senior management.
- **Problem Solving and daily operation**:

- Continuously **collaborate with the team to** improve efficiency by building new tools, new processes and ensure analytical training of the team.
- **Ad-hoc projects & analysis**:

- Participate in ad-hoc projects and analysis based on business needs.

**Requirements**:

- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, excellent team player.
- Experience being part of complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to go into the field and transform observations into hypotheses.
- Ability to work quickly with tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel and analytics (knowledge of SQL is a plus)
- Fluent and comfortable working in **French and English.**
- **Master Degree or Bachelor degree looking for an internship.**
