ITER is a unique, first of a kind project that aims to demonstrate the technical and scientific feasibility of fusion energy.

Jacobs one of three partners making up the Consortium MOMENTUM (construction management-as-agent contractor) is project managing the construction and assembly of more than one million components in world’s largest fusion reactor.

As construction management-as-agent contractor, MOMENTUM is managing the construction and assembly of the first full-scale test reactor to include balance of plant and the Tokomak itself. Join us and play a part in the international effort to make fusion a viable source of almost limitless, carbon-free energy.

Jacobs is recruiting for a **Cost Controller (F/H)** with **at least 7 years of experience** to work on the ITER Project near Aix-en-Provence, France.

He/She will be responsible for:

- Takes direction from & interacts directly with the CMA Project Controls Manager and Project Delivery Managers
- Responsible with IO for the CMA project Cost Control focussing in monitoring Cost performance to detect and understand variance from plan
- Prevent inappropriate or unauthorized changes from been included in the cost baseline
- Responsible for the Cost Control reports
- Participates in the Earned Value and the Cost performance processes as well as Estimates To Complete (ETC) calculation
- Searches the reason why variance occurs both in positive and in negative
- Participates to the changes control processes for the cost assignment to the Contractors and to the WBS

**Here’s What You’ll Need**: Specific skills**:

- International experience managing Engineering & Construction cost control in a large scale project environment
- Technical knowledge of the requirements for Nuclear equipment & plants
- Execution of projects in a highly regulated environment, preferably nuclear
- Worked effectively in a multicultural environment (JV)
- Experience in program & project management including the establishment & maintenance of complex & integrated cost control
- More than 10 years of Major international EPC/EPCm experience
- Fluent in English. French is a must
- Expert use of cost control tools from the Oil & Gas or Nuclear industry (ex: Cleopatra)
- Expert use of essential Microsoft Office tools such as Word, PowerPoint & mainly Excel

**General skills**:

- Ability to work in teams and independently
- Ability to work with low quality input data (poor Bill of Materials, non-intelligent drawings, etc
- Technically experienced in Cost Control methods in industrial projects
- Multi-culturally aware
- Capability to understand and fulfil customer needs in order to obtain full client satisfaction, within a context that is contractually acceptable to the JV.

- Ability to work as a member of a high-performance team and held to account to the effective achievement of the project end objective
