**JOB DESCRIPTION** Job Summary**:
Our Commodities group is a market maker in energy, metals and agricultural commodities, providing hedging and financing solutions to a global client base, which includes corporates, trading houses and financial institutions. Our business has capabilities in financial and physical markets, offering OTC swaps and options-based structures, financing structures and bullion clearing and custody.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our agricultural commodities desk as a Trader in Paris. You will work as part of our wider team, with a primary focus on agriculture.
On a regular basis, you will liaise with a broad range of investors (money managers, banks, insurance companies, pension funds and corporates). Therefore, you will have a chance to make use of your excellent communication skills and adept negotiations to transact in an effective way.

**Job responsibilities**:
- Making markets in both vanilla and exotic options
- Working closely with the Sales organization to generate trade ideas/concepts.
- Trade execution, booking transactions.
- Preparation of other ad hoc market materials & presentations for the MD group
- Working closely with senior traders in pricing and managing derivative risk.
- Working in close collaboration with the Technology and Quantitative Research groups in order to help grow our electronic capabilities
- Develop trading tools
**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**:
- Excellent Excel knowledge, preferably with VBA and or programming skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Trading experience
- Interest in markets, and macro trends
- Strong approach to the control environment
- Ability to work under pressure
