Role Overview:
The HR Business Partner works at both a strategic and operational level across Continental Europe with multiple client groups in the capacity of trusted advisor. The role will support and advise commercial management on aligning the people strategy with business goals/objectives. Provides advice on all HR related queries in the employment relationship and drives the implementation and delivery of key HR initiatives. Current key locations are France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway and Austria.
Role Responsibilities
Business Partnering- Work proactively with the Head of HR, Continental Europe in the implementation of the strategic HR plan linking into Senior HRBP and other senior HR colleagues as required- Oversee and aid implementation and delivery of HR initiatives being the key interface between HR and client groups- Ensure client groups understand their people challenges and coach on appropriate interventions- Translate business requirements and utilise established TP ICAP HR practices and initiatives to deliver people solutions to achieve business objectives- Advise and support client groups on organisational design, departmental restructures and change management activities- Participate in the roll out of culture and conduct for client groups and ongoing reinforcement of initiative
Talent- In collaboration with Talent partners, identify and manage the talent profile within client groups including, individual and departmental training needs,- Ensure all training initiatives are appropriately communicated to client group with their active participation- Work with Senior HRBP to plan for succession and identify values, behaviours and skills for future leaders
Employee Relations- In collaboration with the ER team and legal counsel, provide clear advice on all aspects of employment law issues dealing with involuntary terminations; redundancy processes and settlement agreements- Support, develop and coach managers to effectively handle performance management issues and dispute resolutions offering guidance with a view to resolve matters informally and initiating formal Performance Improvement Plans, when required- Active delivery of job descriptions, objectives and semi-annual review in line with regulatory requirements.- Advise on occupational health issues, seeking specialist advise as appropriate and initiate Permanent Health Insurance process in accordance with policy
HR Analytics- Seek to improve the data quality and use across client groups, using data to support key HR initiatives- Work with Reward and Operations teams to build HR analytics in line with business requirements- Ensure regular MI and analytics for relevant committees is completed in a timely manner- Manage ad-hoc requests for HR data and MI requirements
Reward- Working in collaboration with Reward partners and the business to complete due diligence on contractual terms and challenging commercial decisions- Work with specialist functions on compensation and legal on requirements for new employees and produce approvals paperwork for onward submission

- Discuss, challenge and agree resource requirements with Senior leadership to ensure alignment with strategic objectivesGeneral- Play an active role within the team environment, share knowledge and offer guidance/support to HR colleagues- Proactively and collaboratively partner with HR Operations to ensure first class business delivery- Identify regional projects and HR initiatives in line with regional/functional needs and agree HR’s contribution with senior management- Maintain knowledge of legislative changes impacting employees in regional jurisdiction- Oversight of HR Operations resource- Welcome new joiners and induct them into TP ICAP
