Proclinical are recruiting a Senior Analytical Development Leader for a pharmaceutical organisation. This role is on a permanent basis and is located in Montpellier. The client is focused on developing novel injectable remedies for various therapeutic areas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handle the laboratory equipment used by the analytical development team.
- Offer any other of the company's teams with suitable knowledge.
- You will qualify analytical strategies developed to assist in-house and external manufacturing and testing actions, on a fir for purpose level.
- Conduct sampling and quality control on in-house manufactured products.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a Pharm D or engineering role with a PhD in chemistry, pharmaceutical science, analytical science.
- Knowledge of various analytical technics, equipment and strategies.
- At least 10 years of experience within analytical development in a pharmaceutical organisation with familiarity in injectable pharmaceutical products.
- Prior involvement in all phases of pharmaceutical development from early stage to approvals and post-marketing variations.
- Acquaintance working within pharmaceutical development collaborations, for example: co-development agreements.
- Acquaintance with polymer-based drug delivery systems (DDS) would be advantageous.
- Fluency in the English language with knowledge in French would be beneficial.
- Communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Results focused.
- Capable of making choices in budget and priorities.
- Works well with others.
