**BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (OFFSHORE)**:
This key hire will be responsible for the development partnerships, consortium, and customers to strengthen the company’s reputation in the French offshore wind sector. The overarching aim of the role will be identify and create opportunities to win offshore wind farm development auctions.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
As a Business Development Manager (Offshore) you will:
- Dynamically develop close contacts with existing and potential partners and other relevant parties in the offshore wind sector;
- Establish the company as a valuable collaborator and create/identify partnership opportunities;
- Assess attractiveness of offshore opportunities and provide market intelligence and data to support investment decisions;
- Influence the market/partners in early phase discussions providing various solutions in order to create favourable opportunities in offshore wind tenders;
- Negotiate partnership setups, scope and responsibility, and governance of collaboration structures, coordinate pre-qualification process when required.
- Analyse key competitors and their bidding strategy;
- Build and lead a proactive, action orientated, winning team culture;
- Demonstrable experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with potential consortium partners;
- Understand existing business cases, support the development of new and project specific commercial optimisation options;
- Engage and align with internal stakeholders, departments and the respective project leads and teams on the offshore side;
- Assist with the representation of RWE Renewables at local and regional stakeholder events, in networks and towards respective authorities;
- Work closely with other RWE subsidiaries on the development of joint business cases.
**We are looking for a colleague with the following characteristics and skills, in addition to relevant qualifications**:
**SKILLS**:
- Experienced and established professional in the offshore wind sector;
- Excellent commercial experience, combined with market analysis, program management and leadership skills;
- Experienced at contributing to strategic planning for new markets and identifying value chain opportunities;
- Ability to negotiate with a range of potential partners, including development partners;
- Ability to think strategically but also to ensure attention to detail;
- Ability to maintain sight of the ‘big picture’ and overarching objectives;
- Experience in management of programme and budgets and reporting activities to senior executive and Board level;
- Highly motivated and displays “passion and pride ” in their work;
- Fluent in English/French, Dutch/German is a plus
- Ability to manage own performance, with a significant focus on delivery and an ability to balance a varied and challenging workload;
**EXPERIENCE**:
- Experience of working in the renewable energy industry.
- Experience in Business Development, Marketing, Communications, Partnering, Sales and Stakeholder Management.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Degree in Business, Renewable Energy or equivalent qualification is desirable, but a proven background in a meaningful business development or commercial activity may be sufficient.

Ce poste clé sera responsable du développement de partenariats, de consortiums et de la clientèle afin de renforcer la réputation de l’entreprise dans le secteur de l’éolien en mer en France. L’objectif principal de ce poste sera d’identifier et de créer des opportunités pour remporter des appels d’offres pour le développement de parcs éoliens en mer.
**PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS**:
En tant que responsable du développement commercial (éolien en mer),
- Vous développerez de manière dynamique des relations étroites avec les partenaires existants et potentiels ainsi que d’autres parties concernées dans le secteur de l’éolien en mer
- Vous établirez l’entreprise comme un partenaire de valeur et créerez/identifierez des opportunités de partenariat
- Vous évaluerez l’attractivité des opportunités dans le secteur de l’éolien en mer et fournirez des informations et des données sur le marché pour étayer les décisions d’investissement
- Vous influencerez le marché / les partenaires lors des discussions initiales en fournissant diverses solutions afin de créer des opportunités favorables dans les appels d’offres pour l’éolien en mer
- Vous négocierez la mise en place de partenariats, leur périmètre et les responsabilités, ainsi que la gouvernance des structures de collab
