**Sales Support Officer (1 year fixed-term-contract) - French speaking**
**Overview of role**
The role of the Sales Support is to act as a key contact, both externally and internally, for clients' daily operational enquiries and ad hoc requests (product, performance, middle office etc.), to deliver high quality clients services and to support the Sales team in coordination with the Group’s various functions across listed and private assets.
**Who we look for**
As part of the Sales team, we are recruiting a 1-year Fixed Term contract in a Sales Support role.
**Team overview**
Schroders has an established presence in France since 2001 with current assets under management of more than €13bn. The Paris office comprises:
- a Client Group team of 25 people serving professional clients (institutional investors and third party distributors) in France and Monaco;
- an infrastructure team, with 25 professionals dedicated to equity and debt investments
- a real estate team of 40 people in charge of hotels acquisitions and management across Europe as well as commercial business acquisitions in France, Belgium and Luxembourg
The French business and teams have grown significantly over the past 10 years, with a mission to develop a high performing team fostering and promoting trust, constructive communication, mission alignment and high engagement.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Understand clients’ specific organisation and requirements to customise communication as reporting and ad hoc content
- Be actively involved, along with the owner sales person and in coordination with the RFP team and investment desks, in responses to RFP and due diligence questionnaires
- Be actively involved in the preparation of client meetings and calls (both internally and externally), participate and write meeting reports when relevant, take ownership for follow-up actions
- Feed the CRM tool and make sure all sales activities are properly logged
**Skills required**:
- Experience in an international asset management company
- French speaking and fluent in English
- Rigour, autonomy and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and cooperative mind set
- Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong desire to get things done with people involved
- Excellent presentation and execution skills
- Proactive and determined to achieve goals and results
- A proven team player who is capable of effectively communicating with the rest of the team and working towards a common goal
