Lead Product Management Iaas Hardware

**About the job**

Scaleway is looking for a Lead PM IaaS HW to manage the HW scope for the Bare Metal, Instances, GPU, and Storage product lines.

You will play a key part in helping your collaborators grow and in ensuring the new products meet the market needs to provide Scaleway customers with a complete and solid IaaS offer.

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Significant experience as a Hardware Product Manager (5-10 years), including product strategy and discovery
- Experience managing PMs
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize and prioritize complex problems involving multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build a fruitful relationship with customers, in order to understand and prioritize product requirements
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage dependencies, and keep track of deliverables’ due dates
- Very good command of English and French

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Good knowledge of data center server hardware and virtualization
- Experience with HW logistics and deployment in data centers
- Knowledge of the cloud market and our competitors’ offering (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- Understanding of software development, especially API/backend

**Responsibilities**:

- Own the vision, mission, and strategy for Scaleway’s HW products: Bare Metal, Instances and GPU offers, and Storage
- Manage PMs: conduct 1:1s, mentor, coach, and facilitate collaboration to ensure that your people improve and grow in all their areas of responsibility
- Provide PMs with the processes, tools, coaching, and support they need to:

- Work with the Hardware R&D team to survey the latest trends and opportunities to build new, cost-effective, products
- Lead research to understand competition and user needs and propose differentiating hardware products
- Build the hardware product roadmap, including end-of-life and replacement strategy
- Write hardware product requirements, Time To Market and business plans
- Partner with our Engineering and Operations departments to deliver quality hardware products on schedule
- Follow up on hardware deployments to ensure the timely availability of new hardware products for Software Product teams
- Monitor stock usage, plan supply and follow up on deployments accordingly
- Be the acting PM on Storage

This position is based in our offices in Paris or Lille; full remote is possible (France).

77,000 - 96,000 EUR per year
