Consulting Systems Engineer

You will be tasked with bringing the benefits of the Fortinet Security Fabric, the industry’s only integrated Network, Applications, Cloud and Security Platform on the market. The Fabric Solution CSE position is a technical role that directly supports sales delivery of their quota. You will be measured by their growth success, so your work must and will have an impact. CSE teams are highly valued and appreciated at Fortinet for their contribution to the product evolution and help in winning deals. This will be done through creating, producing and posting innovative content that results in better knowledge to grasp the overall Security Fabric reality, Solution benefits, technical details of implementation and feasibility. Role Location: Flexible within Continental Europe or England - Preferred Sophia Antipolis in France or around London, UK. **The Team** As part of our Fabric Solutions CSE team, you’ll support the CSEs, Pre-Sales, Channel and BDM teams with technical expertise and guidance while establishing trust with your peers. Other CSEs who master the products individually will help you put together your own deliverables at solution level, which will benefit them in return to position their products as part of a solution. You will share the work of producing material and tools with your direct teammates who are already evangelizing, architecting, and simplifying work for our customer-facing sales teams (Systems Engineers and Account Executives) and internal stakeholders (Product Management, Support, Marketing & others). **Your Impact** - Present and position the Fortinet Security Fabric’s benefits and unique differentiators to customers at all levels, including at EBC presentations - Develop innovative methods to help acquire new customers and cultivate existing customers’ deployments, expanding and transforming with the whole breadth of Enhanced Technology products - Interact locally and remotely with Sales and SEs in an equally persuasive manner - Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations that showcase our unique Security Fabric value, ultimately proving value as early as possible in the sales lifecycle - Be an evangelist and Trusted Advisor, leading conversations about Industry trends and emerging changes to the Security landscape - Work with technical marketing to further strengthen interaction and value to our customers - Discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative - Assist the Channel teams with partner enablement and help their lead generation activities. **Your Experience** - Good understanding of Cybersecurity concerns, environment, and solutions. - Fast learner - Self-motivated - Solid organizational skills - "Whatever it takes" attitude - HTML and Video editing skills are a plus - Proven experience in Solution Architecture and pre-sales - Strong communication (written, verbal, presentation skills internally and externally) - Proven ability to work within small creative teams as well as cross-functional teams - Understanding customer’s environment, ideally through some experience as IT team member in an end-user company - You are motivated by a solutions-focused sales environment and find fulfillment in working with colleagues to create innovative ways of delivering and highlighting the solution - You quickly adapt, take decisions, and do path correction efficiently. You have meticulous attention to detail while also keeping the entire system design in mind - Broad understanding of networking, authentication, Cloud and ISP fundamentals. **Required Skills and Technical Experience** - m.a./m.s./Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or meaningful work experience (7+ years) - Master’s in management degree will also be considered for a technical savvy person demonstrating her/his interest in Technology - Demonstrable ability to create solution documentations and Digital Marketing content (Solutions Guides, Blueprints, Decision Maker slides, Technical Briefs, Videos, etc.) - Experienced in working with customers, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills, rapid adaptation to changing environments - Complex project management ability, involving multiple diverse teams from different organizations - Self-motivated, independent thinker, hard-worker ‘when needed’ - Extensive pre-sales experience - Experience in public speaking - Excellent presentation and demo skills - Security certifications are a plus **Key Role Responsibilities include** - Member of the Fabric Solutions team which covers EMEA and APAC regions - Support key multi-faceted projects to ensure Fortinet success - Leading technical discussions, articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated value - Conduct compelling solution presentation - Build technical material to support sales activities - Effectively spread product knowledge to the Sales Team and Channel - Rep
