Manufacturing Controller

**Description**

Based in Drancy, the business controlling team (5 people) performs as finance business partner for key functions managers: Sales / Purchasing / Manufacturing / R&D and is very business oriented. The team handles planning activities (budget/ forecast / mid-term plan), financial analysis, production of functional business packages and reportings, develops IT tools (planning and BI tools) and coordinates BRBU finance teams (plants and regional head offices).

**Key functions**:
Under the responsibility of Head of Business Controlling, MANUFACTURING CONTROLLER acts as business partner and supports Brake Business Unit Head of Operations and Operations teams in driving their performance and their activities.
- He/she drives the capacity management system (actual and planned utilization of plant resources)
- He/she assists top management for decision, regarding investments, strategy, performance and profitability (make or buy, restructuring, etc...).
- He/she defines and supports production of manufacturing KPIs at BU level and ensures consistency and alignment of all sites/countries within the BU (productivity, inventories, poor quality, manufacturing costs, etc.)
- He/She produces and releases the Manufacturing Business Package on a monthly basis.
- He/she manages Inventories consolidation and analysis.
- He/she coordinates financial planning processes (Foreacast, Budget, Mid-term Plan) for manufacturing related topics at BU level with strong involvement in investments projects and cash flow.
- He/She develops Financial Planning and BI tools (Anaplan / Qliksense)
- He/She is a key user in SAP for standard costing, inventories, etc.
- He/She is in charge of all finance activities for one legal entity (South Africa): full P&L and balance sheet management

**Profile and professional skills**:

- Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in controlling and/or Audit preferably with at least 2 years as plant controller.
- Fluent in English, Japanese is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP is mandatory. Knowledge of Anaplan, Qlik, HFM is a plus
