What you'll achieve:
As a Support Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for the timely negotiation and sale of Dell Technologies customer's support contracts within your given region as well as Support sales tied to new product sales. You will be responsible for ensuring that customers have the highest Dell Technologies world-class leading support, therefore maximising revenue and growth. Educating customers and stakeholders on upsell opportunities and new support offerings.

This customer-facing position is a sales role where you have overall responsibility and carry quota for all Support sales opportunities within a set list of accounts. For these, it will be your duty to maximise revenue and consult on how Dell Technologies Support Services best fit into our customer's solutions. You will work with the Account Specialist to ensure the full portfolio is covered from both a sales, customer satisfaction and forecasting perspective. On non-shared accounts, you will drive all opportunity, working with the Account Specialist to ensure a holistic view of sales progression and forecasts in your territory

You will:

- Be responsible for the whole Support portfolio, via long-term strategic account planning and pipeline reviews, Renewals quotes & assets validation, RFP handling with the collaboration of the overlay BDM team and Account Leads/Specialists within each district
- Ensure on-time Renewals, drive the attach rate of Support services and provide regular update to the core teams regarding performance attach (take out attach as they will need to give update on all performance, renewals and attach)
- Preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential & existing customers / partners using your knowledge of our technology, products and services
- Nurture relationships with existing customers, whilst striving to find perfect renewal solutions for their IT needs, and collaborate with the core sales team to drive the opportunities to closure as well as assisting on their ongoing education on how to sell Support services effectively
- Pro-actively interlocking with Technical Support Teams including Technical Account Managers and Service Delivery Managers to expand account knowledge and to work on sales leads for assigned account territory

Here’s what we are looking for with this role

Essential Requirements:

- Consultative selling training and experience (customer context, objectives, issues & impacts...)
- Typically 5+ years of relevant Sales experience within a sales organisation including customer facing activities at C-level, excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills and a fluent command of the English language
- Is proficient in a broader range of service offerings with a deep knowledge of the storage & compute & services portfolio, offerings, products and services and an ability to identify how these products and services align to customer/partner needs
- Highly motivated individual that is skilful in managing time and resources, embraces 'outcome' and strategic thinking, has a structured and prepared approach, in addition to a strong drive for results and problem-solving. Ability to travel when required
- Organisational, problem-solving skills, Viewed as a trusted expert
- Engages cross functional resources, regardless of geographical location, in order to achieve goal and meet customer needs

Desirable Requirements:

- Ideally education to degree standard or higher in relevant field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience in account planning and stakeholder management, ideally in larger customer portfolios, and the ability to work remotely as part of a team
