As a member of the Optical Technologies team within Group Lens Innovation, you will manage studies and industrialization projects for the production of glass molds and non-spherical metal inserts. The processes involved cover a wide range of stages, such as precision machining with diamond tools, polishing, laser engraving, calculation of manufacturing data, and control and analysis of the optical characteristics obtained.

**Your role**

As a member of the Optical Technologies team within Group Lens Innovation, you will manage studies and industrialization projects for production of glass molds and non-spherical metal inserts. The processes involved cover a wide range of stages, such as precision machining with diamond tools, polishing, laser engraving, calculation of manufacturing data, and control and analysis of the optical characteristics obtained.

**Main responsibilities**:
As such, you will be required to:

- Coordinate and carry out studies to understand and develop new technologies
- Collect and analyze data from production sites
- Organize on-site pilots, then transfer knowledge to local production and support/maintenance teams.

You will also interact with other departments, lens and mold manufacturing plants, and equipment manufacturers.

**Main requirements**:

- We are looking an Engineer, with a major in Mechanics and/or Materials and a first experience in machining and/or polishing on CNC machines. Knowledge of calculations, algorithms and data analysis is a plus.

- autonomy, initiative and technical curiosity
- Good analytical and summarizing skills

A good command of English is expected for this position, which requires frequent contact with non-French speakers.

Travel to production sites is possible, as required.
