The role

As a System Admin for the France Infrastructure team, reporting to the Infrastructure manager (France) you will assist in the improvement of the French platform and its evolution to more scalability, stability and securing.

The role mainly involves monitoring, support and day-to-day activities, with interface and coordination with other key members of the IT Department, and acting as technical resource projects on different focus & areas of expertise.

Responsibilities:

- Alarm, incident, request, change and problem handling, according to the ITIL framework
- Monitor and manage technical configurations
- Create technical documentation of processes and systems in scope
- Contribute to Automation and Industrialisation for deployments and upgrades, Continuous Improvement

Skills and experience:

- 3 or more years of experience in system administration.
(Linux, Windows nice to have)
- Knowledge of Bash/Shell/Phyton script language
- Hands-on in at least one of the following topics:

- Monitoring and Visualization : Centreon, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios.
- Logging: ElasticSearch
- Automation : Rundeck
- Experience using Infrastructure building tools:

- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
- CD / CI: Jenkins, GitLab
- Skills in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Linux-based systems (CentOS, OracleLinux)
- Experience working with Virtulization solutions : VMWare, Proxmox
- Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot problems
- Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills to communicate with different stakeholders

Nice to have:

- Understanding of SQL queries and Database related processes (PostgreSQL, MysSQL, Oracle)
- Experience working with OpenStack
