Reporting to the Sales Director, your role will be to market the Tilba range (from the Tilba-ATMO sub-assembly to the complete TILBA-OGS ground station)* to potential customers and/or partners in France and internationally.
Working with the Laser Communications product line manager and the other business developer, you will
**co-develop the commercial strategy** of the range,
**intensify the understanding of the ecosystem** and markets,
**develop our customer/partner networks** and
**extend our influence** in the industry.
You will be responsible for the customer/partner relationship from contact to order.
- Tilba improves free space optical communications by increasing their range and limiting the influence of atmospheric disturbances.
- Your missions will be the following:
Prospecting:
- Identify key accounts and solicit prospects in the free space laser communications industry.
- Develop and maintain the network of commercial prospects and potential partners for development projects
- Research and set up funded collaborative projects
- Organize technical demonstrations, presentations and training for the identified network and customers
- Participate in marketing and sales events to promote Tilba products
Sales proposals:
- Understand the needs of your prospects and customers as well as the challenges of their projects
- Develop your sales proposals and responses to calls for tenders in collaboration with the Customer Project Manager
Negotiation:
- Answer additional technical questions with the support of the Product Manager and/or the Customer Project Manager and reassure the customer in his decision making,
- Negotiate commercial conditions according to the strategic stakes for Cailabs
And also:
- Report on current business, sales forecasts, and strategy to the Sales Department
- Feed and maintain the CRM, Salesforce.
**Essential skills**:
Graduated from an engineering school or a bachelor in physics, you have a technical and commercial experience and have worked more than 5 years in the field of space communications.
Knowledge of the defense sector, its innovation structures and programs, as well as knowledge of the functioning of space agencies (CNES, DLR, ESA...) would be a plus.
Experience in international development is desirable.
You are known for:

Rigorous and dynamic, you know how to take initiatives and organize your commercial activity independently.
Thanks to your listening skills and your ability to analyze and synthesize, you will be able to grasp the challenges of the market and position Cailabs as a key player in the industry.
Very good level of fluent and technical English.
Frequent international travel
Our main site is in Rennes. However, the position can be located in our Paris office or by telecommuting in France.
