Cell Engineering Associate Scientist

As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic and talented Cell Engineering Associate Scientist to conduct and optimize the bioproduction of engineered lentivectors used as payloads for our lead nanoparticles. The position is located in Paris area.

**_Your Tasks_**
- Conduct the internal biomanufacturing activities (from USP to fill and finish) and the associated analytical developments
- Manufacture engineered lentiviral vector batches used for _in vitro_ and _in vivo_ functional studies
- Optimize unit operations compatible with the industrialization of the bioprocess in agreement with quality by design principles
- Implement the appropriate quality controls alongside the development of the bioprocess
- In addition to the operational aspect with the realization of experiments dedicated to the optimization of the formulation, this position also includes stability studies and an activity of continuous improvement of the analytical methods allowing to characterize the product.
- Be part of the operational management of the laboratory: management of purchases, maintenance of equipment, compliance with regulations and health and safety rules in place in the company
- Writing of technical documents (operating procedures), protocols, analyses, and study reports

**_Your Profile_**
- BSc or MSc in Bioengineering or Cell and Molecular Biology
- Strong expertise in the bioproduction of cell-based products in eukaryotic systems (shaking flasks, bioreactors) at small (30-100 mL) and medium scale (1 to 3 L)
- Experience in cell culture, FPLC, qPCR and flow cytometry is requested
- Additional knowledge in the improvement of bioprocess unit operations, Molecular Biology and vectorology is a plus
- An advanced level of English is required for this role, due to the international stakes of the company's development
- Good command of IT tools
