St Mary of the Cross OSHClub is looking for a passionate and motivated Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, leading a team of Educators at a medium (70 licence capacity) service in Point Cook. This is a fantastic opportunity for those willing to run their own OSHC service with great support structure provided by the leadership team.
**Hours are as follows**: Monday - Friday, 06:30 - 08:45AM ( Rise then Shine Program ) and 02:45 - 6:00PM ( Stay and Play Program ) + additional admin hours. You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents. Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the school
St Mary of the Cross OSHClub is an existing medium service with dedicated team of qualified Educators. The average morning attendance for our Rise then Shine Program at this service is 12 children and the average afternoon attendance for our Stay and Play Program is around 18 children. We are licensed for 70 children but will receive a maximum of 30. We run a Holiday Program which we are currently trying to grow attendances for. It is a pack up/pack down service, and we utilise the art room and spread across some classroom spaces for the program. We have a licensed kitchen that is quite large and shared with the school. It is in a growing area of young families.
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids. Strong and clear communication. Team player with a desire to become a service leader. Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children. Australian work rights.
