**Job Summary**

The Designer carries out and checks studies and technical documentation necessary to adapt products to the specificities of each client within our Design Office.

He/she maintains and improves existing products to develop their quality and competitiveness.

**Responsibilities**
- Product design
- Analyze and interpret customer requests
- Control technical feasibility and compliance with standards
- Gather the information needed to design the study
- Design and develop complex parts assemblies to adapt our products to customer specifications
- Make the detailed plans: identification of technical specifications and determination of functional and dimensional rating
- Complete the assembly plans by detailing each product sub-assembly
- Design technical documentation
- Ensure the production and updating of technical, regular and normative instruction manuals and customer nomenclatures by using appropriate monitoring
- Manage necessary drawings for the constitution of the instruction manuals
- Tool design
- Design and implement tools for service improvement
- Perform maintenance of existing engineering tools
- Technical support
- Advise and provide technical support to any department in our organization
- EH&S and continuous improvement

**Basic Qualifications**
- Advanced training in design, especially technical
- 3 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of materials strength and programming
- Solidworks and/or NX and/or AutoCAD proficiency
- French speaking
- English required (intermediate level B1 Linguaskill)
