This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing company and to have a large impact on developing a technology that will have far-reaching impacts across biological sciences. **The Role** DNA Script is looking for a dynamic and talented individual to join the Data Science team as an intern in bioinformatics. **Responsibilities**: - Assist in the development of bioinformatic pipelines to support the R&D teams - Data interpretation and visualisation - Support wet-lab scientists in interpreting their results and perform bespoke analysis **Experience / Qualifications**: - Engineering school/Masters in the field of bioinformatics, computer science, data science - Direct experience working with NGS data - Strong experience working with Python (R is a plus) - Curious and analytical, with a proven ability to learn quickly - Experienced in the use common bioinformatic python-related technologies (pysam, pandas, conda, biopython) - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills **Miscellaneous** - Job located in Kremlin Bicêtre, France - Start date: As soon as possible. **Recruitment Process**: - Initial screening with the manager - Day interview at the office (or remote) with the manager, HR and the rest of the team - Timing: 2-3 weeks
