About MSInsight
MSInsight is a pioneering biotech company specializing in predictive biomarker detection for personalized treatment decisions in oncology. Our cutting-edge technology, MSIcare, enables highly accurate Microsatellite Instability (MSI) detection from tumor DNA sequencing data, helping clinicians and researchers advance precision medicine.
What We Offer
We are looking for a Bioinformatics Intern to support the analysis of genomic sequencing data that will feed into our analytical and clinical performance studies for MSIcare's CE marking.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to customer projects with pharma and biotech partners, giving you exposure to real-world clinical and translational applications.
By joining us, you'll be part of an innovative and meaningful entrepreneurial project. Team spirit is our driving force. Here, employees and founders work together as essential contributors. Joining the team today is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on the future of MSInsight and grow alongside us
Work closely with our CTO and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (bioinformatics, genomics, AI/ML, regulatory).
Hands-on experience with NGS workflows, biomarker development, and clinical-grade bioinformatics.
A dynamic, caring, and intellectually stimulating environment that encourages autonomy and innovation.
Your role and responsabilities
As a Bioinformatics Intern, you will contribute to the development, validation, and deployment of our genomic analysis workflows. Your missions will include:
Genomic data analysis
· Analyze tumor/normal sequencing datasets (WES, targeted panels) for public and private cohorts
· Apply proprietary pipelines for MSI detection
Pipeline development
· Contribute to the design and optimization of bioinformatics pipelines
· Support benchmarking and validation of internal tools
Interpretation & reporting
· Help interpret results for CE-marking documentation and meet regulatory requirements
· Produce visualizations and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders
R&D projects
· Contribute to analyses for projects with partners (academic, pharma/biotech).
Your profile
Master's degree or engineering program in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, or related field
Programming skills, ideally Python and/or R
Solid understanding of genomics and molecular biology, especially NGS data
Familiarity with Docker/Nextflow or cloud environments
Experience with omics data analysis (DNAseq preferred; RNAseq is a bonus)
Knowledge of statistics and data interpretation for biological datasets
Ability to communicate and write technical documents in English
Curious, proactive, rigorous, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
