We are looking for a results-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to help drive ELCA’s digital visibility through targeted SEO and SEM strategies. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, hands-on experience in content and campaign execution, and a deep understanding of search marketing. **Social media management is not part of this role.**

**Website Management, Content & SEO Optimization**
- Create, optimize, and maintain website content aligned with SEO best practices and brand tone.
- Manage content updates using our CMS platforms and ensure seamless user experience across pages.
- Develop and execute on-page SEO strategies: keyword integration, metadata, headings, internal linking, image optimization.
- Support off-page SEO activities: link-building coordination, outreach support, and content partnerships.
- Contribute to technical SEO tasks: website audits, page speed improvements, structured data, indexation monitoring, crawl error resolution.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Search Console, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4.

**SEM & Paid Campaign Support**
- Assist in the setup, monitoring, and optimization of SEM campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and retargeting).
- Track performance metrics such as CTR, conversions, CPC, and ROI.
- Contribute to A/B testing, landing page performance reviews, and monthly campaign reporting.

**Keyword Research & Competitive Analysis**
- Conduct in-depth keyword research to guide content and campaign development.
- Analyze competitors’ digital strategies, search rankings, and backlink profiles.
- Identify new SEO/SEM opportunities and industry trends.

**Trend Monitoring & Digital Innovation**
- Stay current with changes in search engine algorithms, AI-driven marketing tools, and digital best practices.
- Share insights and ideas to continuously improve our digital performance.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support**
- Collaborate with content, design, and web development teams to align digital efforts.
- Support in organizing campaign assets, coordinating photo or video shoots, and handling occasional administrative tasks.

**What You’ll Need**
- Passion for search marketing and a growth mindset
- 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing; experience in B2B or tech is a plus
- Familiarity with key tools like Google Ads, GA4, and Google Search Console
- Basic knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal)
- Fluent in both English and French
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn fast
- Good communication and organizational skills

Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (like Semrush, Screaming Frog) and a solid understanding of SEO principles
- Knowledge of link-building strategies and outreach best practices
- Experience working on multi-language or international websites
- Involvement in previous digital marketing campaigns (organic or paid)
