**Position**:
Our Travel Retail Europe Direction is looking for its new Finance Director, by march 2025. The Finance Director TR Europe will be a “Key Business Partner” to understand the complex business environment of the region and to adapt to each market. He/She will act as a “Key Functional Leader” for all projects happening in the region and to oversee financial operations and driving financial performance of each TR market across the Europe region, as well as, to support the management team in implementing Brand Strategy and to influence important decisions in business monitoring and organization.

This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, analysis, and reporting, as well as the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to regional and local teams and a key point of contact for central HQ too. He/she will manage a team of 2 direct reports. This position will be reporting to the Managing Director of TR Europe, and functionally to the CFO Global Travel Retail.

**Job responsibilities**:
**Financial Management/Budget Controlling**:

- Monitor, plan and analyze financial performance, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement, business review and decision-making purpose.
- Partner with regional and local teams to establish financial objectives, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business goals
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management across the region
- Animate the budget processes (in accordance with the instructions of HQ finance) and actively contribute in the setting of assumptions (Sell Out, Sell-In and CAPEX)
- Ensure the achievement of the Net Sales (NS) objectives. Control, analyze and challenge the achievements, the risks and opportunities during the monthly closings and the landing exercisesChallenge and validate CAPEX requests and follow the post-mortem performance of approved projects**Reporting and Analysis**:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements, budget vs. actual analysis, and variance reports
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management regarding financial performance, risks, and opportunitiesMonitor key financial metrics, such as revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability, and communicate results to stakeholders**Team Leadership and Collaboration**:

- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with regional and local teams to align financial goals, streamline processes, and support business initiatives
- Act as a financial advisor to regional and local stakeholders, offering insights, recommendations, and decision support to drive financial success

**Profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the travel retail, consumer goods, or related industries
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Proven experience in financial reporting and consolidation, including familiarity with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
- Excellent analytical skills and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Willing to travel up to 20% of the time as well as for regional & worldwide seminars/meetings
