Job Description
You will join a multi-disciplinary team composed of Backend Developers, Full-Stack Developers, and Operations Technicians, reporting to an Engineering Manager and working closely with the Product Owner.
The goal of this Feature Team is to design and implement sales support tools for our professional clients. You will contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of services that enable both users and the company to achieve their goals under the best possible conditions.
You will collaborate with Paris-based technical support teams, as well as trade marketing and production teams—requiring rigor and pragmatism.
Within the FT EngExploit team, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing software architectures that align with both functional and non-functional requirements, while integrating seamlessly into the leboncoin ecosystem-
- Developing new features with a strong focus on quality, performance, and scalability- Contributing to the improvement of development, testing (unit and integration), and deployment environments and methodologies (code reviews, CI/CD ) using a DevOps approach- Conducting technology watch activities and taking initiatives to enhance the product- Performing business analyses and proposing solutions and improvements for users- Creating and providing data flows for users
Required Qualifications- Experienced developer with several proven projects in software deployment meeting high standards of quality, performance, and scalability- Proficiency in Python- Strong command of SQL, especially PostgreSQL- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps principles- Ability to work autonomously and learn quickly- Strong teamwork and knowledge-sharing mindset- Curiosity about the business domain and a pragmatic approach
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with distributed architectures, event-driven systems, microservices, RESTful APIs, and monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, etc.)- Knowledge of Airflow DAG development- Familiarity with Kafka or other message brokers- Comfortable working with the team’s Python technologies: FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pandas, Streamlit, and Pytest- You are fluent in French
