Complete an internship project at SOPHiA GENETICS whose mission is to build the future of AI-assisted medicine, joining the Engineering - Team HCS as Platform Software Development Intern.

**Your mission**:
SOPHiA GENETICS is advancing its SOPHiA DDM® platform as part of Gen2 Projects, with a focus on improving real-time communication and event-driven interactions across its architecture. This internship project involves designing and implementing a notification/eventing layer to enhance the platform’s responsiveness, scalability, and user engagement.

**You will be involved in**:

- Designing of layer architecture and defense of proposal
- Implementation of the Infrastructure for the architecture
- Creation of SDK, module to be used in other Micorservice to make use of new infra
- Documentation of new component

**Requirements**:
**The experience you bring**:

- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Software Engineering
- Familiarity with Java Programming, Node & Typescript is a plus
- Microservice Architecture Basics
- Basic understanding of DevOps and Cloud technologies
- Confident communicator and presenter
- Good command of English
