We’re looking for an Assistant Operations Manager & Guide—someone dynamic, organized, and people-oriented, who thrives in an active, hands-on role. If you enjoy juggling multiple responsibilities, working outside of an office, and engaging with guests, this position is for you

You'll lead engaging tours, ensure seamless daily operations, and support our guiding team, helping to create experiences that guests will remember for a lifetime.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Guiding & Guest Engagement**
- Lead engaging, insightful, and dynamic guided tours in Paris, Versailles & Giverny.
- Welcome and assist groups at the start of tours, ensuring smooth experiences.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling guest concerns.

**Daily Tour Operations & Support**
- Oversee guest arrivals, logistics, and tour flow.
- Troubleshoot issues in real-time and provide on-the-ground solutions.
- Support guides and coordinate operations at our Paris & Versailles bases.
- Ensure smooth handoff and completion of tours, including post-tour logistics.

**Guide Team Coordination & Training**
- Assist in scheduling, staffing, and guide assignments.
- Check in with guides daily and support their needs on the ground.
- Provide feedback and quality control to maintain top-tier tour experiences.
- Help organize team meetings, training workshops, and ongoing support.

**Vendor & Partner Relations**
- Assist in managing relationships with transport providers, local attractions, and partners.
- Organize and maintain essential tour equipment, tickets, and supplies.
- Liaise with partners to ensure high-quality experiences.

**Administrative & Operations Support**
- Maintain operational documents, tour sheets, and schedules.
- Support expense tracking, reporting, and logistics coordination.
- Assist in ensuring workflow efficiency and problem-solving as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotations with the Operations Manager.

**Who You Are**
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in tourism, hospitality, or customer service.
- Experience guiding tours (bike tours, museum, walking, or historical tours preferred).
- A people-person who enjoys engaging with groups and creating memorable experiences.
- A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can think on their feet.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a tight-knit team.
- Proficiency in Notion, Slack, Gmail, and other operational tools is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, and off-schedule events.
- Carte de Guide Conférencier a plus but not essential
- A valid driver's license (Permis B) is a plus.

**The Role**:

- Salary: 28 800€ - 30 000€
- Starting February / March 2025
- CDD - 35 Hours with evolution to CDI
- Starting Base Rate: 2100€ during training
- Base Rate Increase to 2400€

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 2,300.00€ - 2,600.00€ per month
