**Your Job**:
- The Event Marketing Specialist is critical to our success with retailer, influencer, media, and direct-to-runner activations, by developing and executing marketing programs and activations that meet each target groups goal. The Event Marketing Specialist will ultimately support the brand strategy and drive business through integrated marketing concepts. Events that target prospective runners with a branded experience that authenticates Brooks and validates our position as a premium running brand is one key area, as well as PR Launch events with media and press, Influencer Get-togethers, Trail events or Retailer incentives.
You will also act as the first point of contact for our athletes and manage their day-to-day needs. You will lead and drive designated Sports Marketing events.
**Your Responsibilities**:
- **EVENTS**:
- Work cross-functionally with internal Brooks teams across Retail, Social, PR and Sports Marketing to build and execute fully integrated programs and experiential activations.
- Define and track clear KPI's based on the type of event. This includes product trial, purchase, and customer data acquisition for B2C events, content creation, social coverage and reach for Influencer and Athlete Events, coverage and articles for PR events and overall satisfaction and brand momentum for retailer events.
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager to forecast and track budget related to event partnerships and activations.
- Serve as the lead for Event Marketing events across France.
- Define a tier-strategy for brand activations and execute Brooks brand moments and marketing campaigns at events.
- Develop project plans identifying tasks, deliverables, milestones, resources, and budget to ensure successful brand activations.
- Plan and execute events, communicating closely with key partners internally and stakeholders externally on design/setup/teardown, program, activations, coverage of the events.
- Act as the point person for event requests that extend beyond seasonal programs (including Tech Rep support, social media campaigns, content partnerships) and determine if Brooks can support requests. Build a plan for approved requests and ensure execution.
- Responsible for retail partnerships, and all Sale/Tech Rep communication for in-market support at events.
- Initiate and oversee cross-functional collaboration with Creative, Product and Sales to ensure effective merchandising plans for events and activations where applicable.
- Manage production and brief process for creative assets associated with events and activations.
- Manage the local Event agency, including briefing and development, activation reports and status meetings. Partner with the event agency on new ideas to pro-actively seek out opportunities to reach new runners.
- Track and manage events marketing budgets for monthly reporting.

TRAIL**:
- Deploy locally the sports marketing plan.
- Support the sports marketing department, being present at trail races to crew our athletes.
- Assist Brooks athletes with various requests such as travel invoices and product orders.
- Define with The Brooks Trail Project staff (our academy for young trail runners) the yearly calendar incl. selections, training camps, races.
- Provide the Brooks Trail Project seeding kits.
- Be present at the Brooks Trail Project training camps.
- Work with PR Team on athlete “moments” including interviews, appearances, events, etc.
- Work with creative, social and digital teams to ensure integration of program assets and storytelling align with our brand.
- Identify key athlete moments and partner with Internal Communications to share with Brooks employees.
- Work with Sale Analytics Team and other Marketing members to forecast units for the elite Seeding kits.
- Track and manage sports marketing budgets for monthly reporting.
- Other responsibilities as required.
**Your Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications or related field desirable.
- Min. 3 years of relevant sales and/or marketing experience (brand, footwear, retail, lifestyle & event experience).
- Excellent knowledge of the running/trail market.
