**The Role**

As the SC Manager, you will be leading the Solution Consulting team covering the Quality domain and overseeing customer demonstrations, RFP responses, and the introduction of new Veeva products into the market. You will lead by example within a distributed team and will be responsible for mentoring, staffing, and hiring colleagues.

You will be working closely with internal key stakeholders, sales and strategy leaders, and Account Partners across the region on multiple simultaneous sales processes.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead the quality solution consulting team, lead by example
- Manage the operational, day-to-day activities of the team
- Bear overall people management responsibilities
- Guide and mentor team members throughout their career development
- Conduct effective and efficient hiring
- Develop and deliver client-facing presentations and live demonstrations
- Work closely with the sales and strategy teams to build, manage and maintain key customer and prospect relationships

**Requirements**:

- 7+ years of solution consulting / pre-sales experience in the quality domain within life sciences
- 3+ years of experience building and managing a remote team of A-players, preferably leading a team of solution consultants
- Experience managing through influence in a complex, matrixed organization
- Proven understanding of complex product capabilities, use cases, best practices, and challenges
- Comfortable engaging with C-level executives, IT, and/or business managers, and be able to tailor the conversation and topics of discussion accordingly
- Passionate about software and technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability and willingness to dive into details
- Ability to travel for customer meetings, internal events, and conferences
- Native-level fluency in English
- Self-starter

**Nice to Have**
- Fluency in German, French, Spanish or Italian
