As part of our financial team, you will oversee the financial topics in Questel German entities:
- Two main operational entities and 3 to 5 smaller entities operating in IP services and software
Your position will include the following responsibilities:
- Organize and supervise the production and issuance of financial information: German GaaP statutory annual accounts and monthly accounts for the Group reporting
- Ensure compliance in accounting and tax aspects (relying on external support of a professional tax firm)
- Organize annual audits and ensure their successful completion in line with Group requirements
- Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
- Contribute to ERP and other systems deployment in the subsidiaries under your responsibility
- Implement internal control procedures and mitigate risk exposure of the subsidiaries
- Supervise and improve the cash management, in particular Accounts Receivables collection
- Supervise and automate the Accounts Payables cycle
- Actively optimize accounting processes in terms of quality and productivity
- Manage and develop team members in the accounting department of Brandstock (4 direct reports, approximately 15 people overall, located in Germany and India)
- Implement a strong coordination with the Group Financial team and lead group projects in German entities

- Master’s degree or university studies in finance, accounting and/or business administration
- 10+ years professional experience in a similar position (Head of Finance, Finance manager)
- Knowledge of German GaaP & Knowledge of IFRS would be a serious advantage
- Experience in multinational environment with group policy, reporting, deadlines, frequent communication
- Knowledge of ERP software (DATEV / Exact / Other)
- Mastery of Excel
- Excellent English / German is a plus
