Position Summary

To support a core project of coming years we are looking for a Cryogenic logistic project manager.

You will join the Hydrogen Operations Europe team, and you will be responsible to lead Plug Power’s project to identify and source ISO cryogenic tanks for Liquid Hydrogen to build a competitive and reliable liquid hydrogen logistic approach. You will have to create partnership with specialized industrials, understand operating and regulatory constraints to achieve the most optimized container solution offering good operating and safety conditions with a minimum of boil-off.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborating with the Europe Hydrogen Operations Director, your mission will be to:

- Be responsible for project success, stakeholder, schedule, and cost management,
- Specify the required specifications (possible transit time, payload, capacity, safety, operability, maintainability, cost, construction time,),
- Identify, meet and build project partnerships with specialized industrials,
- Manage the project development within those industrial partner(s),
- Once the project is completed, as the in-house cryogenic expert, create and qualify with the operation logistics team the container fleet (several $10 million budget)
- Ensure containers are delivered on time, within budget and at the right quality with accurate documentation,
- Ensure the commissioning of the containers,
- Create detailed procedures for the use in good operational and safety conditions of these containers.
- Define the monitoring and maintenance plan for this equipment (certification, periodic checks, revisions, etc.)
- Be the main contact for the Logistics Operations team who will operate these containers,
- Beyond the internal cryogenic expertise on transport, bring then your expertise on other cryo topics on the production and loading of LH2.

Education and Experience

You have an engineering degree or university degree,

You have a specialization or an experience with cryogenic gas (filling, storage or transportation),

You have strong engineering skills across thermodynamics, and process engineering,

Ideally you have a proven experience of conceptualizing technology for scalability.

You have manage projects, ideally on topics related to cryo logistics
