Logistics Project Manager

Part of the Business Area Performance Mineral EMEA (3500 employees, 80 plants, 25 countries & 1,2 billion euros Revenue), which is under the SAP 4 Hana deployment, the Logistics Project Manager for the SAP Logistics stream:

- Is part of the Business Planning & Supply Chain teams, more precisely of the Supply Chain Continuous Improvement & Projects teams of the Business Area, focusing on Logistics continuous improvement projects
- Is the point of contact of the business area for SAP support for both the sites already deployed and under SAP deployment. The Logistics Project Manager works hands in hands with the SAP Corporate teams (in charge of the SAP deployment coordination across the group) and with the Business Area end users
- Is referent in his/her field of expertise, ensuring ad hoc training sessions (beyond the training provided by SAP Corporate teams) and continuously contributing to the knowledge transfer towards the users of the SAP Sales & Distribution and Transport Management modules

**Responsibilities**:
In the context of SAP 4 Hana being rolled out over all entities of the business area, the Logistics Project Manager will be the reference point for the management of all Logistics related activities in the ERP and in charge of the continuous improvement:

- As a referent for the Business Area Performance Minerals EMEA, makes sure that all the logistics related processes / functionalities / data are well in place in SAP to ensure a smooth business continuity
- Is involved in the preparation of the new waves for the SAP deployment as an overall coordinator (not as a key users) to ensure the standardization of the ways of working with the former waves
- Ensures knowledge sharing across the Business Area by facilitating regular webinars / good practices sharing events
- Is the point of contact for each new SAP evolution: coordinate with the SAP Corporate teams the specification requirements description, tests the developments and train the users.
- Proposes improvements in SAP to ease the life of the users, and therefore interacts with the other teams in charge of automation (Robotic Process Automation, Cost Controlling teams ) and then coordinates the implementation
- Works closely with the Customer Service counterpart for the Order to Cash to build a robust end to end system
- Designs reporting tools on the efficiency of the Logistics flows and update / share them.
- Leads continuous improvement projects to improve overall efficiency
- Interacts beyond the Performance Minerals EMEA perimeter with the other Group Business Areas to benchmark and identify new solutions

Accountability
- Fluidity of SAP Transport Management module: both roll out and daily use
- SAP Transport Management module knowledge sharing and proper usage among the Logistics communities

Profil recherché

Competencies & Experience

Key competencies
- First experience in logistics or supply chain positions
- Good understanding of a logistics organisation
- SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and ideally Transport Management (TM) module knowledge
- Strong IT capabilities (Experience with SAP 4 Hana, knowledge of Google suite a plus)
- Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
- Problem solver & facilitator
- Very good communication skills with ability to address a topic at different hierarchical levels
- At ease in a matrix environment with cross functional interactions
- Autonomous, comfortable with remote management
- Rigorous
- Capacity to drive change and facilitate change management
- Pedagogic
- Ability to go beyond his/her field of expertise

Ideal background/ experience

Bachelor or Master with Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations specialization
Experienced in project management
Former experience in training facilitation is a plus
