The Center for the Study of Pedagogy by AI (CEPIA) and the EPITECH research team, is dedicated to the integration of artificial intelligence into teaching practices to transform learning in digital and hybrid environments. This position is part of a joint initiative aimed at leveraging AI to understand learning processes, design personalized teaching tools, and optimize educational practices.

The teacher-researcher will be responsible for:

- Analyze learning processes through educational data to identify learners' needs and model their paths.
- Develop educational AI tools capable of personalizing learning, diagnosing difficulties, and supporting teachers in their practices.
- Evaluate the impact of AI technologies on educational effectiveness and learner engagement, ensuring their alignment with ethical and inclusive principles.
- Contribute to scientific advancement by publishing work in leading journals and conferences (eg, Learning Analytics and Knowledge, AI in Education).

The research objective is to develop knowledge and tools to create dynamic and adaptive learning environments, in line with the needs of computer science students and the requirements of technology industries.

As a Teacher, you provide pedagogical and technical support in the following areas: AI (ML and DL) / Big Data:

- You will be responsible for designing and revising topics, as well as designing and leading workshops or conferences for students and staff.
- You will also be expected to contribute to creating topics for the coding club
- You will implement educational activities such as the introduction of modules, the presentation of projects, tutorials, defenses, etc. You will ensure their smooth running, lead them, support students throughout the modules and specialization projects, and ensure that all necessary means are implemented to guarantee their success.

Desired profile
- Education: Doctorate in educational sciences, computer science, artificial intelligence, or related field with a focus on pedagogy or AI.
- Experience: A first experience in research on AI applied to education or the analysis of educational data will be highly appreciated with a history of publications.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (eg, Python, R), AI frameworks (eg, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow), and learning platforms like Moodle or Canvas.
- Personal Qualities: Analytical mind, creativity, ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary framework, and commitment to ethics and inclusion.
- Languages: Fluency in English (level C1 required for international publications); French is an asset.
