**YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES**:
Within the Group, you will join the **AXA SA Risk Management** department under the responsibility of AXA SA Deputy Chief Risk Officer acting as the second line of defense for all AXA SA activities (Corporate, Financial Holding, Reinsurance) as well as GIE AXA services, coordinating with all key expert functions within GIE.

Within this Department, you will be part of the **Operational Risk & Internal Control team** reporting to Operational Risk & Internal Control Manager, in charge of monitoring AXA SA and GIE AXA operational risks and provide assurance on internal control framework effectiveness to the top management.

**Your job and daily missions**:
As **Internal Financial Controller** within the Operational Risk & Internal Control team, you will be responsible for:

- Participate to Internal Control activity contributing to AXA SA and GIE AXA **Internal Control Programme** and **Internal Control plan**:

- Leading and performing Internal Control reviews providing independent opinion on the design and operating effectiveness of controls set out by the 1st line operational departments
- Contributing to Internal Financial Control Programmes participating in 2nd line control activities aiming at providing assurance to the management on the design and operating effectiveness of controls set out:

- for the validation of the Solvency II Internal Model Framework of AXA SA for the calculation of its Short-Term Economic Capital
- for the IFRS contribution to Group financial statements
- Monitoring performance of key controls by 1st line managers and ensure regular reporting in Group Risk & Control tool
- Ensure coverage of key risks by controls in line with Group Control Objectives
- Participating to workshops with control and business functions to review controls and monitor the risk mitigating action plans and ensure these are up-to-date
- Monitoring Internal Control deficiencies to ensure adequacy of action plans and escalation when required
- Contribute to AXA SA and GIE AXA **Operational Risk framework**:

- Support Operational Risk assessment with operational teams
- Ensure collection of loss data, incidents and local Key Risk Indicators
- Participate to Internal Control community and share key take-ways (best practices, methodology ) with the team
- Spread **Internal Control culture** across the organization and improve management understanding of their risks

**YOUR PROFILE**:

**Technical and professional skills**
- Educational background: Master degree (BAC+5) in Business Administration or equivalent, specializing in Risk Management and or Audit & Control
- 5 to 7 years experience in risk management / internal control and / or internal audit, ideally in financial services and insurance and/or reinsurance
- Knowledge in IFRS and / or Solvency II is a plus
- Project management capacities
- Fluent in French and Proficient in English is mandatory (B2 level at least both in writing and speaking)

- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Organizational skills
- Ability to interact with a wide range of correspondents at various levels of management including regulators and auditors
- Proficient writing and communicating skills (delivery of presentations, documentations)
