**THE CONTEXT**

The Adeo group is currently developing its Marketplace which is part of the Omnicommerce department. It is a key pillar of an ambitious plan to transform the entire business and become the world’s leading habitat platform. The marketplace objective is to expand the product and service offering, improve customer experience, reinforce the market positioning and create a key revenue stream.

In this context, Adeo is looking for a Data Scientist to create value for our customers from data science use cases based on our data.

The position is based in France, either in Lille (Ronchin) or in Paris (near “Gare du Nord”).

**YOUR MISSION**

This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and gain a holistic view of our marketplace business with both a local and global perspective. Reporting to the marketplace data manager, you will be able to implement data science use cases dedicated to improving our product catalogue.

You will have the following responsibilities:

- Development of statistical and/or machine learning models to enhance product data: taxonomy, attributes and categorization.
- Industrialization and monitoring of the product models mentioned above in collaboration with the business and technical teams.
- Educate and support stakeholders on use and benefits of tools developed for them.

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Master’s degree in Big Data, Machine Learning, Engineering, IT or any related field from a top-tier university.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist.
- Highly organised and results oriented with a high degree of ownership.
- Strong interpersonal and relational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- IT Stack: SQL and Python
- Strong command of the main statistical and machine learning methods (supervised and unsupervised).
- English proficiency.
- Good command of a dashboard tool (Google Data Studio, Power BI) and of data engineering tools are a plus.
- Other European languages is appreciated
