Cdi - Pattern Maker W/m - Salomon Apparel &

**We are looking for a **Pattern Maker W/M** to**:

- Lead apparel pattern development focusing on technical product range
- Drive product excellence (fit and construction) as well as consistency (document and secure construction standards) in regards of marketing and design brief

**You will work in close collaboration with our design, marketing, sourcing, quality, supply and SDC operation teams.**

**You will report directly to the Operations Director.**

**Main Activities**:

- Transform our design and technical sketches into garments with the right fit, silhouette and functionality
- Collaborate with sample maker to execute first samples in proto center
- Interpreting designer's sketches and creates pattern in Lectra & CLO
- Developing and maintaining the pattern library
- Ensure consistency of fit for each product category according to consumer fit preference standards
- Performing all pattern corrections necessary as a result of fittings and/or requested changes
- Communicate with the factories regarding pattern modifications and any additional comments
- Provide effective and cost-efficient pattern solutions
- Checking measurements and quality of pre-production samples submitted for approval by factories
- Sewing samples, mock up when necessary

- _ Diriger la conception et de développement de vêtements en se concentrant sur la gamme de produits techniques_
- _ Promouvoir l'excellence du produit (coupe et construction) ainsi que la cohérence (documenter et sécuriser les normes de construction) en ce qui concerne le marketing et le briefing de design_

**_ Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes Design, marketing, sourcing, qualité, supply et SDC Operations._**

Activités principales :_**
- _ Transformer nos croquis de conception et de technique en vêtements avec le bon ajustement, la silhouette et la fonctionnalité_
- _ Collaborer avec le fabricant d'échantillons pour exécuter les premiers échantillons dans le centre de prototypage_
- _ Interpréter les croquis des designers et créer des patrons dans Lectra et CLO_
- _ Développer et maintenir la bibliothèque de patrons_
- _ Assurer la cohérence de l'ajustement pour chaque catégorie de produits en fonction des normes de préférence d'ajustement des consommateurs_
- _ Effectuer toutes les corrections de patron nécessaires à la suite d'essayages et/ou de changements demandés_
- _ Communiquer avec les usines concernant les modifications de patron et tout commentaire supplémentaire_
- _ Fournir des solutions de patronage efficaces et rentables_
- _ Vérifier les mesures et la qualité des échantillons de pré-production soumis à l'approbation des usines_
- _ Réalisation d'échantillons de couture, de maquettes si nécessaire_

**Qualifications**
- **Needed Work Experience**: 5+ years' of professional experience in pattern making
- ** Education**: BA degree in têxtile engineering or fashion school
- ** Foreign Language(s)**: proficiency in English
- ** IT Skills**: Excel, Illustrator, Lectra, CLO 3D (optional), Centric (optional)
- ** Specific Skills**:

- Advanced knowledge in pattern creation and grading, apparel making, knowledge of materials, têxtiles
- Understanding of apparel construction, material construction for outdoor and sport garments
