**Primary purpose of the position**:
This position will perform the technical drawings to be proposed to the customers and also support the Research and Development leaders during the business case for innovation and technical quotations for new products. You will be coating technical expert who will support our customers and Ball Customer Technical Service for all the compatibility questions both for bottles and aerosols. Central Research and Development Specialist will work with external resources to support the project enhancement and feasibility or pilot trials requirements. The role will proactively suggest strategic partnership needed with potential third party to achieve our vision of accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable aluminium products.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Manage and Develop the Research and Development lab in terms of technical capabilities and resources service
- Work closely with the Industrialisation and COE teams to manage the development phase and communicate all necessary data for industrialisation stage
- Support the Research and Development Director to work on the innovation opportunities during the Innovation Definition stage
- Organize on regular basis a global benchmart of the competitor products
- Manage the qualification stepsinternally (for the bottles)
- Mantain relations with the PMO and all the Research and Development Engineers to update the progress of the projects
- Manage the aerosols and bottles drawing database
- Conduct technology and market intelligence to find more sustainable coating and processes
- Follow with the coating suppliers the regulation regarding the chemicals

**Experience required**:

- Engineering or other Technical degree
- Prior experience in the field of Research and Development Management, Technical Project Management or Technical Management and preferably in personal care, pharmaceutical or food/beverage packaging industries.
- Customers relationship.
- Technical drawing
- Fluent French and English language knowledge
