The logistics manager will play an integral role in maintaining excellent organization of inventory and managing all functions related to the movement of our products. They will serve as the primary logistics contact in relation to stock management and product shipping. More specifically, this role will coordinate with our teams regarding organizing and shipping of samples, overall stock management and internal product organization.
The position is based in Paris but a basic-level of spoken and written English is needed to communicate with our teams in the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and more.
The following are the key duties and responsibilities:
- Receive products in a European harbor and ensure their transport to the company
warehouse(s)
- Organize and manage the transport of products with sales to ensure their proper
shipment from the place of storage to the final reception by customers
- Collect and process information related to logistics flows
- Anticipate future production planning with necessary teams to ensure buffer stocks and a just-in-time flow of products
- Be attentive to the needs and requests of team members, distributors and customers
Profile
- Bac +2/3 level training: BTS, DUT or pro license with training in logistics and transport,
inventory management or orders
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics and/or inventory management
- Operational level of English
- Knowledge of digital tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams)
- Works both independently and as part of a team
- Motivated and detail-oriented, with mínimal supervision required
- Accustomed to working in a multicultural corporate environment
- Organization and time efficiency; with an ability to handle tight turnaround time frames
