**Job Description Summary**: BD Pharm System provides industry-leading needle technologies, prefillable syringes, safety and shielding systems, and self-injection systems for pharmaceutical and biotech companies across the globe.
The core mission of the WW SMO project leader is to support projects in the organization that have an impact on the customer service level.
Within the WW SMO department, you are in charge of a portfolio of several projects that you lead in parallel from Concept to Launch at plants with an acceptable level of risks.
You work in a transversal environment implying all functions, plants and regions.
Main project categories are linked to capacity and/ or risk: sourcing changes, AOS (Assurance Of Supply), cost saving.
- For all projects, you start building a project plan that needs to be approved by the right committee and then execute it until the implementation with an acceptable level of risks all along the project.
- All those activities are managed in a project mode.
- For AOS projects (material changes), you work closely with R&D Department to select alternative materials and define the validation and testing strategies.
- You follow the project progress and status by reporting regular updates on the risks linked to the project execution.
- You lead the follow-up meetings highlighting the main events, issue some recommendations in case of any drift and follow the actions until resolution.
- You escalate the blocking points you were unable to solve to the Management.
- You contribute to the global Continuous Improvement program of Supply Chain efficiency by generating ideas to identify cost savings and contribute to the financial analysis.
**Background**: Degree in Engineering or equivalent
**Professional experience** : Project Management experience (3 years minimum)
**Key skills and competencies**:
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
- Strong accountability for the team performance and delivery
- Excellent problem analysis skills
- Experience in risk analysis and FMEA process
- Supply Chain knowledge would be appreciated
**Location site could be any Pharmaceutical System facility**
**Hybrid-remote mode is authorized**
