You join the Mirova Private Equity team’s Sustainable Ocean strategy as an Investment Manager / Investment Director. The strategy aims to support growing companies on the main themes of the sustainable blue economy, namely the sustainable management of marine resources, the fight against marine pollution and climate change and the preservation of biodiversity. You will be involved in the creation of value for the companies in the portfolio and participate in the exit strategy if necessary. The strategy is global, with the first fund targeting major emerging markets in Asia and Latin America. The investments are made mainly in equities, supplemented by senior debt.

On a daily basis, your tasks are:

- To monitor the holdings of fund 1 by participating in the creation of financial and non-financial value of companies, in conjunction with the senior investment director, propose a valuation of the lines for which he/she will be responsible;
- Participate in the screening of opportunities on the ocean strategy, prepare analyses and conduct due diligences;
- Take responsibility for negotiation and execution of transactions (new or divestments) with the support of an analyst and the ESG/impact and legal departments;
- Supervise the work of junior analysts.

The Private Equity team is made up of approximately 10 people, 4 of whom are specifically dedicated to ocean strategy.

**Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience**:

You have a higher education and at least 5 years of experience in similar positions. Experience related to emerging markets and ocean protection will be highly appreciated.

You are proficient:

- The process of executing complex transactions (equity, acquisition or disposal);
- Valuation techniques and financial modelling and analysis;
- Providing support to management companies.

You have an excellent relationship, a very good listening ability, you are:

- Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
- Adaptable and autonomous.

You are fluent in English with a C1 level. Fluency in Spanish would be an asset.
