**Pourquoi a-t-on besoin de vous ?** Context** Generative AI has opened a great number of opportunities to extract a large share of the business value from high volume open text datasets. In particular, in Saint-Gobain, some very large internal and external surveys (>10,000 respondents) only analyze a limited number of open-text verbatims today, because it requires human reading. Therefore an internal initiative has been developed to build an AI tool to analyze these surveys at scale. **Internship Description** The objective of this internship will be to develop technological bricks to meet Saint-Gobain Business Units needs. The following topics are examples of topic of interest that could be addressed during the internship: - Thematic classification of multilingual verbatims using ADA embedding and Chat-GPT - Detection of intentions _(e.g. suggestions, claims)_ in verbatims using a combination of simple rule-based techniques and advanced generative AI techniques _(e.g. Retrieval-Augmented Generation)_ - Design overviews visualizations on verbatims metrics for executive summaries - Detection of named entities using Generative AI - Build customized distances between verbatims and Chat-GPT generated summaries - Benchmark most recent GenAI algorithms (Open AI, Mistral,) to find which model suits best the tasks of interest - Customization of ADA embedding to answer business specific questions - Scaling on different types of large surveys in Saint-Gobain The results of this internship will be directly used in the AI tool and presented to identified Saint-Gobain Business Units. **Technologies we use** - Python - Azure Machine Learning - Generative AI : Chat GPT / ADA embedding - Streamlit **Ce poste est-il fait pour vous ?** - Being friendly and open to collaboration - Good programming skills and familiar with Python/Git and open source tools - Results oriented; with a motivation to have an impact on the field - Experience in Generative AI and Prompt Engineering is a plus - Excellent communication skills. - Student in engineering school or university, specialized in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics or related fields Job Reference: FRA26218
